1) Make a “To Do” list
Plan your day, each day and put the more important things at the top of the list. This will help you accomplish more.
2) Just say “No”
It’s okay to tell your co-workers you can’t help them right now. Finish your tasks first, then help them.
3) Pace yourself
On the large tasks, do a little each day. Don’t wait until the last minute to do it, that’s how mistakes happen.
4) Do it right the first time
If you don’t have time to do it right the first time, how are you going to have time to correct what you did and do it right the second time?
Delegate any task from your to do list that you can. This will allow you to do a quality job on the remaining tasks and reduce errors.
6) Limit distractions
Close the office door, turn off your phone, or just find a quiet room to work alone to allow yourself time to focus on your tasks at hand.
7) Get a good nights sleep
A good nights sleep will help refresh and rejuvenate your body to help you focus more clearly during your day.
