In the business world, change is constantly taking place and we are always looking for ways to improve things. 3. Ask for Support
Request for support from your employees and explain to them why you need it. Understanding the benefits of the changes to them and the organization as a whole is important. Getting them involved in the process will send the message that you are depending on them and that they are valuable.
4. Introduce Change Gradually
Changing a situation too quickly will create upset and tension for your employees. You cannot expect too much too fast from them. You need to give them a chance to absorb the changes gradually. Remember that not everyone is able to grasp change at the same pace.
5. Anticipate Some Resistance
Since humans are creatures of habit, they may resist and try to revert back to the old way of doing things. Removing them from their comfort zone is likely to create some resistance. Be proactive and anticipate it, as well as develop a plan of action so that you are prepared.
